Born in Moscow in 1965, after graduating from high school in 1982, he entered the Moscow Automobile and Road Institute, which he graduated in 1987 with a diploma in French.

  • From 1992 to 1997 he worked as a photo editor of Reuters (Great Britain) at the Moscow office.

  • In 1997, he worked as Director of the Photo Services of GEO magazine, the Russian version in Paris, in the PrismaPress group.

  • In 1998, he launched the project of the Russian version of the Paris Match magazine in Moscow as Photo Director. In the same year, he launched the Vogue Russia project as the head of the photo service.

  • From 1998 to 2008 - Director of the Best Pictures Agency in Moscow.

  • From 2009 to 2011, an independent photo specialist.
