STORIES BEHIND PHOTOS

While we cannot watch the surrounding nature and urban scene, some renowned photographers will guide us through the most important photos they took in their professional life and will explain the background.

MATTHIEU HAAG - PRESENTATION

Matthieu Haag discovered the cinema belatedly, buying a camera in the year 2000 and trying to understand the world. He traveled all over the world to make his movies, in Lebanon, Mali and for his new documentary in Vietnam. He likes to use the best media for each story: sometimes the sound for a radio report about hitchhiking in Germany and Austria, sometimes the photography for an exhibition on gypsies from Slovakia, sometimes a camera when pictures and sound are needed.

INGRID KRAISER - FILTER BUBBLES

The forming of art pieces can be seen as forming tools to speak, to be heard - and in my case with photo art - to reach out by being seen.

THIS ART EXHIBITION IS FORMED AROUND THE SUBJECT OF MESSAGES BEING CARRIED FORWARD THROUGH ART. IT SEEKS TO SURFACE IDEAS AND THOUGHTS OF ENTRY POINTS FOR CRITICAL VIEWING AND UNDERSTANDING.

Art pieces with direct messages, others with integrated messages to be detected and some to be viewed and understood with whatever points of references the viewer might personally hold. Gender aspects having formed part of the art formation itself. Gender aspects of understanding storytelling through art.
